EVALUATING ACTIVE AGING POLICIES IN ITALY
Evaluating Active Ageing Policies in Italy – an innovative methodological framework (FINAL CONFERENCE)

The overall objective of the project carried out by Fondazione Brodolini for the European Commission - DG Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities is to elaborate and test an “ad hoc” methodology and  proper indicators in order to evaluate the effectiveness of active ageing strategies in Italy. The final aim is to support policy-makers and other relevant stakeholders with a methodological framework in order to strengthen their programming and evaluation capacity in implementing active ageing programmes and plans.
The Conference has been the opportunity to disseminate the project results among a wide audience of stakeholders and labour market experts (policy-makers, social partners, academicians, etc.). The Conference was introduced by the presentation of the main results of the research, which was followed by a presentation of the three Regional Reports of Marche, Liguria and Campania. After these presentations, a round table followed with the participation of selected experts, from the field of trade unions, universities and regional and local administrations.
